The first months of 2026 set a strong tone. Shockform marks 20 years of expertise in peening solutions and, on March 24, received the MercadOr Québec Award in the Market Diversification category.
Real recognition, built on two decades of work in the field. Today, our Québec-developed expertise reaches more than 50 countries, supporting Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, GE Aerospace, and Bell Flight.
Portable peening solutions built for the field
Out of the Lower Laurentians, we developed three families of portable peening solutions: Rotary Peening, Needle Peening, and Manual Controlled Shot Peening. Each one was built to work where it actually needs to: on-site, in environments that don’t always cooperate.
The result is precise process control and the kind of repeatability that aerospace applications demand. Details on all three are on our products page.
Diversifying markets: a choice we made early, confirmed today
The MercadOr Award also reflects years of focused business development. We made deliberate calls along the way: show up in new markets, understand how things actually work on the ground, and adapt our solutions accordingly.
From commercial aerospace to defence and specialized maintenance, that adaptability is what lets us work alongside such a wide range of partners. In an industry moving this fast, it stopped being a differentiator a while ago. Now it’s just the baseline.
This recognition also puts us in the running for the provincial MercadOr Award. Results come in 2027. We’ll be watching as a team, and proud of it.
