Aerospace safety depends on components that perform to spec, cycle after cycle. When corrosion or stress fatigue is detected, the repair zone is often small, confined or extremely hard to access. Full disassembly is always possible, but treating a small area on a large component that way is costly and time-consuming.
Since 2006, Shockform has built specialized peening and surface treatment solutions for exactly these situations: targeted interventions on all-metal components, in place, without disassembly, in FOD-less conditions, wherever the work happens.
Where our solutions operate
Our equipment works across the full spectrum of aerospace maintenance. MRO and overhaul facilities use our tools to restore metal surfaces to specification without removing the part from the aircraft. Airlines rely on our equipment for line maintenance and AOG response. Landing gear shops use our FlapSpeed® PRO to simplify procedures and reduce turnaround time. Structural repair teams trust our solutions for both manufacturing and repair applications.

Engine MRO: precision without disassembly
Engine components present the most demanding access conditions in maintenance. Confined spaces, complex geometries, strict FOD requirements; and no room for error.
The Spiker®-ES was created in partnership with MTU Aero Engines to allow technicians to perform peening repairs directly on the turbine, without prior disassembly of the blade, stage or any other time-consuming element. The Spiker®-ES controls all process parameters, enabling rapid intervention without the risk of leaving FOD in the engine. By limiting disassembly and reassembly, considerable time savings are achieved.
Shockform works closely with the main engine manufacturers; GE, Safran, Rolls-Royce, MTU. Our tools are recognized and qualified by these manufacturers.
For MRO shops working on high-cycle engines, the Spiker®-ES brings process consistency and full traceability to repairs that conventional equipment simply cannot reach. As the engine MRO sector grows and independent shop visit volumes rise, the ability to perform precise, repeatable repairs on complex components, in place, without disassembly, becomes a competitive advantage.

Beyond aviation: a new context
Aeroderivative turbines are increasingly powering data centers and energy infrastructure, including the facilities driving artificial intelligence platforms. These applications demand the same corrosion resistance, fatigue life management and process precision that aerospace has always required.
Shockform already works with manufacturers in this sphere. The targeted, small-surface approach that serves aerospace maintenance translates directly to these new applications. As energy infrastructure scales, the need for portable, precise peening solutions follows.
R&D is how we work, with you
Every Shockform product starts with a real problem in the field. The FlapSpeed® PRO and the Spiker®-ES exist because customers needed something the market did not offer.
Our engineering team invests continuously in advancing peening and surface treatment technology, and we bring that capacity directly to clients. When a standard solution does not fit, we develop one. If you face a surface treatment challenge that existing equipment does not solve, we want to hear about it.
We are also advancing how peening intensity is measured and validated in the field; from the Saturation Curve Solver to the E-Strip® electronic intensity sensor.

Proven in the field for 20 years, and ready for what’s next
Our clients include major OEMs; Boeing, Airbus, GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, SAFRAN, as well as leading airlines, military operators and MRO facilities around the world.
They choose us because we understand their process, we reach where others cannot, and we stand behind our work.
That has not changed since our first customer trusted us in 2006.
